Tim Baines, Sr. Minister Tim was born and raised in a Christian Church in Michigan City, IN. He graduated with a B.A. as a Preaching Ministry Major from Lincoln Christian University in 1984. He attended Lincoln Christian Seminary from 1984-1987. In 1987, he married Cindy who had three children (Mark 7, Meagan 4, and Jillian 3) before being widowed in 1983. In 1989, their fourth child Bethani was born.
Tim graduated from Kentucky Christian University in 1994 with a Master of Ministry degree. He served in Youth Ministries in Joliet, IL (1983-1985) and in Belleville, IL (1985-1988). He then served as youth minister, small groups/adult education minister and preacher understudy in Michigan City, IN (1988-2003). In September of 2003, Tim became the Sr. Minister of Madison Christian Church and has served here ever since.
Tim’s hobbies include: golfing, reading with coffee or diet Coke, jogging (very slowly),watching football and golf, and spending time with his Cindy and their children. He adores his daughter-in-law and even enjoys being around his sons-in-law.
His wife Cindy is (in his opinion) the prettiest Dental Hygienist in Nashville. She is also a house-flipper! Their four children are married and living in the Nashville area and active in MCC also – which brings great joy to Tim and Cindy.
They are currently most likely to talk about their 10 grandchildren – Kai, Lilly, Clive, Titus, Sage, Primrose, Mack, Thaddeus, Thea & Tansy.
Isaac Shaddix, Youth and Worship Minister I was born and raised in Cullman, Alabama. I grew up in a Nazarene church before accepting God’s call here at MCC. I was called into the ministry during a mission trip to Africa. I graduated with a B.A. in Worship Arts with a minor in Sound Technology from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2015. In July of 2016, I married my wife Brittney. We just had our first child, Natalie Elizabeth, on October 18, 2017.
I have served as a volunteer at several churches throughout my life. I have done internships with Youth Groups and Worship in both Alabama and Tennessee. During college, I served as part-time worship minister in Donelson and an interim pastor in Jasper, Alabama. After college, I worked as a truck driver for a couple of places and ended up at Fed Ex for a year before God called me here. I love what I do, and am excited to see what God has in store.
